Caretips is committed to working in partnership with you. We provide guidance and interpret the rules for you. In line with taking ownership and responsibility for your application, we take direction from your wishes and preferences.

We are not liable for any delays or effects caused by your decision not to follow our advice and guidance. For example, if we believe you lack sufficient evidence to demonstrate knowledge and experience in managing specialised services, do not have the necessary resources, or have not carried out thorough research about your target market or collaboration with local authorities and other health officials.

Caretips welcomes your feedback and will implement the changes you request. The registered manager is usually responsible for reviewing the application and evidence to ensure they meet your standards. 

Written Feedback

We will only accept written feedback. This ensures that all parties have a documented record of comments and suggestions, providing a clear reference point that also reduces misunderstandings and miscommunication. It is your responsibility to identify the document and section you wish to modify. This ensures that your request is straightforward and reduces the need for back-and-forth exchanges.


Please be as specific as possible by:
•    Being Clear and Concise: This helps us to easily understand your points.
•    Document Name: Clearly state the name of the document in question.
•    Use Bullet Points: This format enhances readability and makes information easier to digest.
•    Section Reference: Indicate the specific section or paragraph number where changes are needed.
•    Rationale for Change: Provide a brief explanation of why the requested modifications are essential. This may be due to inaccuracies, outdated data, or clarity problems.

Here's a sample email to illustrate how you could format your request:

Subject: Request for Changes in Compliance Report - Section 5

Dear Caretips

I am writing to request a review of Section 5 of the Compliance Report submitted on [Date].

Upon reviewing the document, I noticed that the statistics presented in this section do not reflect the most recent data compiled in our quarterly analysis. Specifically, I suggest updating the figures to include our latest findings, which I have attached for your reference.
